Capita Customer Solutions appoints new COO and client relationship director
Capita Customer Solutions has appointed Paul McSweeney as its new chief operating officer as the company seeks to build and grow its capabilities. Paul joins Capita from Turas Nua, and was previously chief operating officer for Dublin Midlands Hospital Group and CEO of the Local Government Management Agency. He also has significant private sector experience, having worked for Microsoft in various positions for more than a decade. He has been appointed to oversee the deployment of Capita Customer Solutions’ strategy, formerly SouthWestern, as the company seeks to draw on the expertise and scale of the wider Capita group under its new branding.
SouthWestern was acquired by Capita in August 2014 and announced it would begin trading as Capita Customer Solutions earlier this month. Capita has also announced the formation of Capita Ireland, a move to bring together many of its businesses in the Republic of Ireland
Capita Customer Solutions also confirms that it has appointed Ailish Hansen to the new role of client relationship director, signalling Capita’s commitment to building strategic partnership with valued clients, and delivering solutions which best fit each client’s individual needs. Ailish was previously global relationship manager for business networking site LinkedIn.
